Itoh type Peonies are bred by cross breeding herbaceous type Peonies with tree Peonies, creating a new hybrid. Itoh Peony Lemon Dream blooms are vivid semi-double blooms, atop strong stems and bushy foliage. What sets it apart is that its flowers sometimes sport a lilac flare, a lilac petal or on some older established plants solid yellow or lilac blooms.
